Super-cool chip musician GOTO80 created the f0rskolan Amiga MODule back in the mid-90′s. A few years later, Pingo released a C64 SID-version on the LCP-party in Sweden. Now SouthPoleRadio.com releases the new EP f0rskolan with remixes by Pingo and William Thurin – as well as the original Amiga and C64 version!

The popular Pingo® ItaloMix Spotify playlist is UPDATED again, for first time in 2012. Great news, eh?

Now we have AGAIN included Dragon’s Legend by KOTO (which went missing on Spotify for a long time) and a new version of Ken Laszlo’s Hey Hey Guy with much better quality. You will also find Valerie Dore’s The Night as well as Get Closer!

Other additions are Spacer Woman (Charlie), For your love (Albert One) and Pretty Face (Styloo).

NEWSFLASH: Pingo® ItaloMix, yet another update!

The Spotify playlist Pingo® ItaloMix is yet again updated. This time we’ve cleaned up a few songs that are not available at Spotify at the moment (sadly, Koto’s Dragon Legend was one of them!), but we’ve also added a few new tunes – most notably Electron’s Lights of Stalingrad which is a good substitute for the missing Koto song.

Also, find some new interesting Sinitta, Scotch and other songs! Spotify is releasing more and more Italo these days, and that, of course, makes us all happy. The playlist is over 5 hours and now contains 58 hot tracks. Perfect for your summer party!

Italo Disco Spotify Playlist!

Pingo® ItaloMix on Spotify!

Yes, Spotify is actually a difficult place to find good Italo Disco on. I wish I could continue running the SouthPole Radio Italo Disco station – but sadly, I can’t. But, today we created the Pingo® ItaloMix – a great playlist with our own favourite hits. The playlist is three and a half hour long (!) and focus has been on great hits and good music.

Sadly,Spotify doesn’t have any tracks from Diana Est, Hugh Bullen, Savage, Baby’s Gang, Fake and other cool Italo artists, and some (like Scotch) only have a few nice tunes up. Hopefully, that will change in the future. For now, I hope that the Pingo® ItaloMix will be a nice mix for all of you out there who wants to listen to great quality italo disco!
